Full compliance with international standards for records management

A Noark 5 compliant solution approved by The National Archives of Norway

The management of electronic records can be a complex process that requires specific technical infrastructure and adherence to strict functional requirements.

Noark 5 (short for Norsk arkivstandard, or Norwegian Archive Standard) and MoReq (short for Model Requirements for the Management of Electronic Records) are standard requirement specifications for Electronic Records Management Systems (ERMS), which are intended to be used in Norway and Europe respectively. Both Noark 5 and MoReq have been designed as frameworks to guide users and developers of electronic records management systems — be it in public or private organizations.

While the MoReq specification is not mandatory in Europe and can be used elsewhere, Noark 5 is mandatory for Norwegian public organizations looking to use an ERMS.

Documaster is a fully Noark 5 compliant records management solution that has been approved by The National Archives of Norway. Moreover, not only does Documaster easily integrate with any organization’s bundle of business applications but it also makes them systematically Noark 5 compliant.
